Thomas Comes To Lolli!

Every year when we’ve been to the Lollibop Festival it has mainly been for Florence’s benefit. The first year it was just her and I and the next year Jimmy had only just been born. The year after that, at just over one and again he just tagged along with Florence, enjoying it but without having too many ideas of what HE wanted to do. I did take him to some of the lovely things they lay on for babies with sensory and singing but my main priority was my girl – she was excited by everything she saw and had very definite ideas about what she wanted to do next!

She loved the first year and has continued to love it every time we’ve been. There’s always been masses of things she’s into and we have filled our days there from top to bottom. She is a very girlie girl so the things we chose to do reflected that but this year my boy, who is very much into BOY’S things, is old enough to want a few choices of his own too!

Luckily most of the things at the festival appeal to ALL children but my two are very stereotypical so given the choice of something sparkly or something with wheels and they will both take the typical gender scenario. Florence has never been a mega fan of Thomas the Tank Engine for instance but Jimmy… WOW! He LOVES Thomas!

And this year guess who will be chuffing into Lollibop?! He will be providing an interactive themed play zone with the Sodor Summer Fete – exciting!

Florence will love it regardless of not being a general fan but Jimmy will be IN his element! Along with Postman Pat he will definitely choose Thomas as a big part of his day!

I’m SO excited to be going again this year. It’s going to be better than ever and I think the new venue at Hatfield House sounds perfect!

Florence AND Jimmy (and all the pals we’re meeting up with) are going to laugh their socks off ALL day! CANNOT wait!

Main stage fun from last year with Justin Fletcher – who is back again this year too of course!

I’m a Lollibop ambassador.
