Under The Sea Tea – Friday Night Treat Tea!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

This week we let our friends choose the theme for our Friday Night Treat Tea and they came up with the brilliant plan of an ‘under the sea’ tea.

I had lots of ideas including some star fish ice cubes made with orange squash but because the weather was so glorious today and the forecast says it won’t last I decided to scale it back a touch and take a picnic tea to the park instead. So we didn’t have many frilly bits but we still had fun food. I got some really good picnic ideas from Pinterest and the Eats Amazing blog and added some of my own ideas too. This is what we did for our picnic version of Friday Night Treat tea this week.

'Just Roll' croissant dough meant I could roll my own ham and cheese croissants and then snip little crab claws into each side! I then made eyes out of paper and cocktail sticks!

To go with them we had 'star fish' jam and sprinkle sandwiches!

What a lovely picnic tea with an under the sea theme. We also had a bowl of 'Skips' crisps which I thought could be sea shells!

We haven’t decided on a theme for next week but we will definitely be doing one. Probably not outside as the weather is due to take a turn for the worst unfortunately. See you then!
