Tesco Spring/Summer 2015 – A First Look!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

It seems very strange to me to be thinking about the summer when Christmas is on its way; even odder in a way than seeing all the Christmas shows in the height of the summer? Still, we had a very interesting visit with Tesco yesterday where they showcased their summer homeware pieces for 2015 and despite the weather having taken a turn for the colder outside, we were almost transported into the garden with a glass of Pimms.

The summer at Tesco, and Dobbies Garden Centre, who Tesco own, looks very bright indeed! I’d not heard of Dobbies before but they aparently have lots of creative and hands on activities for children at the weekend so they don’t sound like the sort of garden centres I used to get dragged around as a child (they also sell really delicious chocolate and popcorn which we had to go back for more of)!

Here’s what we liked!

Lots of Bumbebees and Ladybirds which, with my choices of middle names, is perfect for us!

So, quite a lot to look forward to from Tesco when these cold winter nights start to draw out! Oh and they left me with two other little gems too! Did you know that in Scotland you HAVE to pay for plastic bags in the supermarket and the same will happen (good news too) here by October 2015? Well, it’s never been a better time to buy a re-usable and Tesco have some awesome new designs by Orla Kiely which they sent me home with one of. Did you also know that if you order with ‘click and Collect’ by 5pm then you can pick up the next day after 3pm? And that’s even including Tesco Express stores!
