Scooby-Dooby Doo Where Are You?!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

I used to love Scooby-Doo when I was a child. I wasn’t a mega fan of cartoons but there were a few, Scooby was one of them, that I really did enjoy. Florence has been introduced to Scooby in the past but I think it might have been a little old for her. The style of cartoon that it has always been traditionally is quite sophisticated and although she would be old enough now I think, before she just wasn’t at that stage.

Scooby-Doo has had a bit of a make-over recently though and is now being made with puppets which makes it altogether better for children my age! Just in time for Halloween there is a DVD release of the new style show and Scooby-Doo Adventures, The Mystery map will be on sale for a spoooooooky treat this half term!

The Hanna-Barbera and Warner Bros collaboration is out to buy today but we’ve been having a sneaky peak and Florence thinks it’s great!

Scooby-Doo! Adventures The Mystery Map DVD sees new-look Scooby and the gang embark on a mad, pizza-fuelled dash to find pirate Gnarlybeard’s hidden treasure.

Confronting more than a few chilling obstacles along the way, watch as the slobbering-sleuth and his band of crime-busting puppet pals sniff out the clues, only to have the map stolen by the frightening Phantom Parrot. Ruh-roh!

The gang must track down the mysterious bird to recover the map if they ever want to reach the spooky ship. But, once on-board, what will Gnarlybeard be willing to do to protect his booty?

The DVD even has an extra dance section which is fab to join in with!

As well as the dancing extras there are also a couple of original style episodes to enjoy! Florence has been watching them all back to back all weekend so she’s definitely the right age now and because it’s puppets for the main feature Jimmy is really interested too!

What a fab idea for a fresh look at an old cartoon which has always been popular with children!

I have not been paid to write this post.
