On the first day of December Mummy Endeavours, Family Four Fun, Modern Mummy and I drew the winner of our #WinChristmas competition which ran throughout November. The lucky winner walked away with Christmas in the bag and one of the brilliant prizes she won was her choice of a Le Mu London occasion wear dress.

I’ve had my eye on this collection of beautiful clothing for a while now and fell in love with the Golden Glitz dress some time ago. I swear if they made it in an adult’s size I’d even wear it myself; it’s absolutely stunning! I showed it to Florence and she too was wowed as she was with ALL of the other dresses too.

I knew, that although she adored the gold, she had realy fallen head over heels for a different dress from Le Mu. The Fabulous Purple Princess dress was love at first sight. It’s an expensive dress, some might say too expensive for a child, but… It really is something special and with hand sewn jewels, rich layers of tulle and lace with exquisite details such as hand stitched flower embroidery, sequin trims, lavish pearls and golden buttons. Le Mu is a newly launched UK brand specialising in occasionwear and accessories that will excite and delight little girls aged 2 to 9 years and we couldn’t wait to see one in the flesh! We ordered the dress and when it was delivered in beautiful packaging of a red dress bag I’m pretty sure Florence was close to tears of happiness. She literally couldn’t speak! THAT, was priceless!

Beautiful soft layers of skirt that float around like a ballerina as you walk, delicate lace with three quarter length arms, a dainty clasp at the neck, velvet jeweled ribbon to tie around the middle and with it came a matching draw string bag with pearls and jewels for the handle. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything quite so pretty for a little girl to wear and when Florence tried it on I could see that it really is the most beautiful dress. I watched her float about in it and smile at herself in the mirror recognising the feeling she was experiencing. Falling in love with THAT dress. We’ve all done it and this is Florence’s first.

I think it’s clear to see why Florence has fallen so head over heels for her new dress and I couldn’t stop looking at it either. It’s totally beautiful. I love how delicate it is but she says it’s soft and amazingly comfortable to wear. I wanted to take the pictures in the day light and we were going to go over to the Wanstead Flats to take them but she said she just couldn’t wait. In the dusk of the winter evening we went outside to sashay in the Fabulous Purple Princess and it truly IS a Princess dress!

It comes with a bag and a coat hanger as well as a dress bag to hang in the wardrobe and the beautiful bag to match. It is a dress for a special occasion for sure, a bridesmaid dress, a birthday, Christmas. This dress is the sort of dress Florence will never forget.
