Peppa Pig Tea – Friday Night Treat Tea!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

It was bound to happen sooner or later that one of the children would choose Peppa Pig as the theme for our Friday Night Treat Tea. This week it happened and I had the task of trying to make some fun Pappa Pig food for Florence, Jimmy and two of their friends. This is how we got on!

I made mini calzone pizzas in the shape of pig's faces using dough I had frozen from when we made pizzas at our Rio themed tea!

I was worried they might spread in the oven but they came out really well!

Then I made some flowers out of pepper and cucumber using a frilly edged cutter!

For the drinks I made Goldie the fish using my fish shaped ice cube tray (50p from Ikea) and filling it with pure orange squash!

When Goldie the fish went for a swim in the jug of water they slowly turned it into orange squash!
Next up I TRIED (and I think we can safely say failed) to make George's dinosaur out of melon. If only I'd had a cutter and not done it freehand and it would have worked. Oh well!

And to finish it was an ice cream and chocolate sauce muddy puddle with a wiggly worm for good measure!

Next week’s theme may very well be Tinkerbell but nothing is set in stone yet. See you then!

  1. I love EVERYTHING about this post! The piggy calzone’s turned out brilliantly, and I love the dinosaurs – especially as you cut them out by hand – now that’s dedication! I foresee a Peppa Pig lunch coming up for my boys, inspired by your ideas 🙂
Thank you for linking up to #FunFoodFriday!
