Our Week!

This week has been a little bit better than last. I’m getting used to be on my own during the week but am still exhausted come Friday and very ready for Jonny to come home and give me a bit of a break! This weekend my Mum is coming with him as Jonny and I are off the the theatre tomorrow to see Memphis and then out for dinner. We’ve also got our open day tomorrow when troops of people will be looking around our house to see if they want to buy it. Not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand it means it gets it all out of the way in one day but on the other, part of me still doesn’t want to move and makes me want to scream STOP! I hate the thought of other people nosing about my home so I’m going to just try not to think about it…

It’s been a long week but one in which I got to go and see my good friends Katy from modern Mummy and Alice from Project Wonderlust when we went out to lunch on Monday together. We went to Villandry at great Portland Street with the guys from AVG. Tony Anscombe, their internet security guru, told us some very intersting things about internet safety. I’ll be bringing you a post that he’s written for me very soon because I asked him all about children using YouTube and he said he will prepare me something special that every parent with a YouTube fan needs to know! After finding Florence watching what I thought was an innocent old episode of ‘Rainbow’ but had, in fact, been dubbed innappropriately, this is something I can’t wait to read myself!

In other news Florence was asked to be on the school council which she is very pleased about and has a shiny enamelled badge! I’m so proud of her!

The best evening of the week for us at the moment is definitely a Wednesday because it’s Great British Bake Off night! I let the children stay up late as a treat and we all snuggle up under a blanket and watch together. Florence is super into it but Jimmy didn’t quite make it for this week’s episode… Totally shattered from his nursery all day that day!

Only one of them could keep their eyes open for the Bake Off this week!

So, onto the weekend with glee! We’re off for a treat to Pizza Hut then a swim at the local slide pool after school and by the time we get home Daddy and Gram will be here! Can’t wait!
