The New Shoe!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

I last took Jimmy to have his feet measured about 2 months ago and he was, as he had been for 12 months, still a size 5. Florence is just like him and their feet don’t grow for ages then have a little spurt meaning suddenly all the shoes don’t fit!

At my Mum’s the other day, where we’ve been staying for Easter with just his trainers and wellies for him to wear, I noticed his toes were red and when I asked him he said his shoes hurt. I took him to Clarks and we chose, together (yes, he now has an opinion), a new pair of trainers and I think they’re lovely! They’ll probably last him a whole year just like the last pair which is ace! There are benefits to having children’s feet stay the same size for ages as we always get loads of wear out of them. It’s a good job Clarks shoes are made to last then eh!

How cute are these new Halcy Sun First trainers (he’s still got tiny feet despite the grown but one day he’ll be able to have the big boy shoes and be measured on the iPad) from Clarks! They’re a great price too and at £20 you can’t go wrong!

Jimmy wasn’t the only one with new shoes this week as I treated myself to a rather beautiful Nine West pair of wedges. Love them even with their £95 price tag! They’re so comfortable that I’ll wear them all summer and they really remind me of the shoes my Mum used to wear when I was little in the eighties which makes me love them even more! These ones are called Jumbalia and they also come in white and brown (which I HAVE to get, they’re gorgeous)! I adore getting new shoes!
