Netflix At Mahiki – All Hail King Julien!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Yesterday saw the culmination of an almost full week of partying for me… It was, thankfully, day time and with the children (because I don’t think I could have managed another night out) but there was still champagne and glamour… Probably more glamour than I’ve ever seen before truth be told!

We were invited to some special Netflix screenings of their new ‘All Hail King Julien’ of Madagascar fame and along with celebs like Pixie Lott, Jaime Winstone and rock royalty in the offspring of The Stones, we got to see the show for the first time… At… Drum roll please… Mahiki!

I was very excited as I do love a bit of private guest list clubbage, the fact it was 2pm in the afternoon didn’t bother me at all!

And we had a fabulous time! It was simply brilliant fun! We met King Julien, we loved his show and we danced and partied hard with friends Katy from Modern Mummy and Carolyn from Mummy Endavours and their gangs!

The time flew by in a whirl and both children were absolutely worn out by the time we left. Jimmy started to flag very early on and lay down on the floor, it later turned out he felt a bit unwell, but they thought the whole experience was wonderful! Netflix have even given us a subscription so we shall be able to continue watching the series! Florence and Jimmy are big Madagascar fans so this little spin off is just up their street and with more fun music and funny stories it’s no wonder they were so smitten!

So all we have to say is a big thank you to Netflix and the All Hail King Julien crew! We love it!

We were invited to the coronation party of King Julien held at Mahiki in Mayfair.

  1. Really enjoyed reading this post, what an absolutely lovely event. And so funny to see the kids drinking their mocktails at Mahiki – how cool are they! Hope you had a fab Christmas and that you have a great 2015!! See you soon xxx
