The weather might not realise it but Mothercare certainly do! It’s spring and summer is just around the corner! Bright, bold colours are all the rage for this year and who better to pull off some colourful action in the clothing department but the little ones! Mothercare’s new ‘Spring into Colour’ collection is just totally fabulous and as soon as we saw their new video to introduce it we fell in love with some of the key pieces!

It’s not just clothing that’s getting the full colour brightening but accessories and other products too! THE most fabulous Myhi high chair comes in five different bright colours too! I LOVE them all but think I like the purple one best – good for either sex and would certainly put a spring in the step of any morning! COME ON SUMMER! (Looks like it’s a nice easy and wipe clean one too)!

We were lucky enough to be sent some of the new collection of clothes so that Jimmy and Florence can step out this summer and be noticed! They’re such good value and of course you just KNOW they’re well made, they’re Mothercare after all!

We just LOVE this collection. All we need now is some spring pushing on summer sun so that we can wear it all! Look why I’m SO excited about the ‘Spring into Colour‘ range!

Florence fell in love with her cat T shirt, shoes and jeans instantly! The Cat T shirt (£4 or two for £7) has a green ribbon bow which we like! 

I like the jeans (£10) because they have the inner elastic which allows you to adjust the waist. Perfect for Florence as nothing ever fits her waist unless far too short in the leg!

She felt very cool with her matching denim jacket (£14-£15) The jacket will go with everything else she wears this summer too!

And as for the shoes (£10) – she can’t wait to wear them outside! LOVE the fact they’re not actually lace but elastic, means she can get them on and off easily by herself!

Jimmy also had a bright pink number on one of his outfits!

We love this pink shorts, T shirt and denim shirt combo (£18-£20). The neon in the shorts matches Florence’s jeans, jacket and cat T shirt beautifully!

Florence’s new embellished occasion dress will be perfect for Jimmy’s birthday party in May! It’s beautiful AND bright and fashionable. It’s soft and silky on the top and floaty net for the skirt. Florence likes it so much, she said ‘It’s your birthday soon too isn’t it, I shall wear it for that too’! If we can keep it pristine till August we have my cousin’s wedding which it would be perfect for too. We can dress it up with some ballet pumps for the wedding and wear it with the trainers a la Lily Allen for the parties!

Jimmy’s next outfit is the striped T shirt (£4 or two for £7) and these gorgeous checked denim shorts (£9-£10)

It’s worth noting that both pairs of Jimmy’s shorts (which are aged 6-9 months) fit Florence perfectly too! Sharing clothes for the summer! Bonus!

I love Jimmy in dungarees! They go with everything, wash well and last and last because they usually (as this pair does) have differently placed buttons so as the baby grows you can move them down a button! These dungarees come with the striped T shirt (£12-£14) and are shorter legs especially for summer!

 

And Florence got an every day dress (£6 or two for £10) too. It’s T shirt material so super cool and it has lovely cross over straps at the back!

Come on then sunshine – we want to wear these clothes out doors but we’ll need a little of your rays first!
