Ski Fun – Mark Warner And Polarn O. Pyret Blogging Challenge #3

I have often talked about my love of the Polarn O. Pyret range. For anyone who loves fashion it is a must have brand but even if you’re not a follower of lovely clothes (how could you not be?) then this is still the brand for you because as well as being gorgeously on trend at all times while still keeping its signature look, they also provide excellent quality, functional clothes which last and last and last! Have I mentioned Jimmy STILL wears pyjamas that are age 2-4 months? Yes I’m sure I have in lots of other posts but when he’s nearly 2 and a half YEARS old then I think it’s worth saying again!

We have had lots of clothes from the PO.P range and they all last a LONG time. They wash well and have cuffs which roll up and down as well as waist expanders even in their leggings. They are absolutely brilliant!

This vest atthe top is one of my favourite pieces from PO.P ever! Given to Florence as a baby she wore it from 2 months until she was well over a year and then it was still pristine for Jimmy as were the little sock, which stay on, that came with it! On the bottom pictures you will see Florence in her lollipop tights which she is wearing again when it is cold for a third year, I don't get it but they still fit? And on the right is Jimmy, some time ago, in THOSE pyjamas. He also wore them the night before last and they don't look any more worn than they did in this picture (AND they were hand me downs)!

This month PO.P have teamed up with Mark Warner to become their partner on the third blogger challenge in a series of four which will see three bloggers win a wonderful Mark Warner summer holiday. I really, REALLY want to go on the holiday so have entered the last two, will enter the next one and am most certainly finding no hardship in entering this one as the deal is to choose a selection of ski wear and explain why you have chosen what you have.

I regularly look at at PO.P range so I already knew what I’d be choosing without even looking and have put together both a boy’s ski outfit AND a girl’s (although everything is actually unisex I have chosen what i would actually choose for my own children). Hope you like my picks from their winter outerwear range!

POP Girl
Starting with my girls outfit I have used the Striped Thermal Range for undergarments and chosen the matching neck warmer to tie in with them on the top. I chose these because Florence would love them, they are quirky and they also look really comfy! I can just imagine coming in from a cod day, rosy cheeked and taking off the outer wear but still padding about in these as you warm up inside! I’d love some just like this in big sizes for me as a cosy pair of pyjamas for the winter!
POP Girl 2
I think this hat is too cute and the mittens are adorable to finish off my girl’s ski outfit!
I love this cute bobble hat and mittens to finish off the outfit! Gorgeous!

POP Boy
I absolutely LOVE the Striped Thermal items so have gone for the top in blue when it comes to my boy’s outfit but this time I chose different long Johns and a dark neck warmer. They look just as cosy I think!

To go over the top some more salopetter style trousers, a dark fleece top and a padded coat which would all withstand hot chocolate drips and other mess - my boy is likely to get messy even in snow!

Some more gloves and a hat to top the outfit off. Jimmy would love the camouflage on the gloves and I think because the ears have flaps he might even be persuaded to wear the hat and be convinced it's a pilot's hat!

So, there they are! My choices for this part of the competition. I could have chosen pretty much anything in the PO.P range as it’s all lovely and I know that it would be well worth the money as it would wash well, last a long time and then be in great condition to pass on to another child. It is pretty much a guarantee with their clothes as far as my experience goes and we’ve had rather a lot of experience!

If I was to go skiing with Mark Warner I’d absolutely make these clothing choices and I think for a destination we’d go a little off piste (‘scuse the pun – totally intended) and not go to France but perhaps try somewhere else like Austria! I went there with school on walking holidays and I reckon that backdrop for the winter season would be immense!

This is our entry into the third Mark Warner Holidays blogging challenge to choose an outfit for skiing from the PO.P winter warmer range. We will be entering all the challenges in the hope our names will be drawn at the end to win a fabulous family holiday!
