A 3 Is The Magic Number Party!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

For Jimmy’s third birthday party this last weekend we held a ‘3 Is The Magic Number’ party. It was entirely his choice for a ‘magic trick’ party as he calls it which I find amazing! HOW is my baby old enough to choose his own party theme?

My Mum excelled herself with the cake yet again and my Dad played the magician/story teller with my little sister as his helper (she decided in rehearsals that he was far too much of a creepy magician on his own! My Poor Daddy! It was a real family affair! We loved the party and I think everyone else loved it too. Hope you like the pictures!

I love fun food so wanted to make the sandwiches in keeping with the party theme and the new Magic Squares by Petit Filous were also perfect! They come in two flavour varieties of either raspberry and vanilla or strawberry and vanilla and each pot has a combination in 4 squares which is really cute. They’re also delicious and full of calcium AND Vitamin D! I picked mine up in Tesco where they’re on offer for two packs of four for £2 at the moment! The children thought they were great and totally magical as they mixed up the flavour of fruit and vanilla!

The grown ups had Sandwiches and scones with Prosecco and the children all sat at their table really beautifully!

The AMAZING cake made by my Mum! I don't know how she does it, I really don't!

Then it was time to say cheerio to our little guests. We gave every guest a magic wand when they arrived with the magic words ‘Izzy Whizzy Let’s Get Busy’ to remember for the end when they got to magic up a special take home present/ The boys all got Stink Bugzzzz from Character Toys (they are REALLY stinky and just up Jimmy’s street as you can squeeze them to make the stink come out even more) and the girls got Sprayza pens by RenArt! These are super cool and come with a stencil to spray paint over and make perfect butterfly pictures!

Before we knew it it was time to say cheerio to our guests. Everyone had a magic wand at the beginning of the party and were told the magic words 'Izzy Wizzy Let's Get Busy' to remember for the end of the party where they got to magic up a take home gift!
The magic wands to go with the magic bag presents!

I also made cookies which spelled out a magic message of ‘3 Is The Magic Number’ and wrote on the little bag labels to ‘spell out the magic message’ and made little goodie bags with magic themed trinket! I love a brilliant goodie bag at a party and I think these ones are pretty cool even if I do say so myself!

Magic party bags!

Florence and Jimmy really liked unscrabbling the magic message in the cookie bags and also making the turtles up with plasticine!

We had a lovely ‘3 Is The Magic Number’ party and even though we’re exhausted (all of us) we’d do it all over again next weekend if we could!
