Easter Blues!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

I, like everyone I’m sure, suffer with the holiday blues. When I worked with my friend Craig he used to wait for me to come in on my first morning back after a jolly, give me something to drink, walk me outside for a pep talk and then baby me for the whole day because he knew I was likely to burst into tears… I always think of my pal Craig on a first day back and today is no exception! Today we are back in London after a fortnight at my Mum’s and I feel very blue.

Still, Florence isn’t back at school until tomorrow so we’re going to make the most of the sunshine weather and have some fun and ice cream at the park!

I loved the Easter holidays which saw Florence’s second baby tooth fall out, Easter hunts, beach days, Bewilderwood fun, a Haven Holiday mini break and loads more. These are my fave pictures from the past two weeks!

Easter 4

He is cheeky and when on the easter egg hunt he ripped into his chocolate as and when he found it, so unlike his sister who carefully collected everything before having a tiny bit!

How long is it until the next holiday? Ah… Only 5 weeks… I can manage not to be too blue then!

  1. It could be worse. My little boy has just started preschool 2 mornings a week. I didn’t want him to go – but know he’ll enjoy it. And as he’s over 3 now he’s not tiny so should cope OK. He’s there now. I want to go and get him and bring him home already….but they don’t look too kindly at Nina kidnapping manoeuvres – even if it’s your own child! (My older 2 are at school and I also try to pack loads into the holidays too. Making memories.)
