Clarks Shoes For Summer!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

We have become quite the fans of Clarks shoes since not so long ago I discovered that despite my preconceptions based on my own childhood shoe shopping experiences, Clarks are both fashionable AND functional these days!

What’s even better is that the styles appeal to not just me as a parent but also to Florence. I even let her choose her own shoes because at Clarks I know I can. I say to her ‘ok, today we need to get smart shoes’ or ‘this time we’re looking for trainers’ and then all she has to do is pick. She loves it and the experience is a good one for all of us. The last couple of shoe shopping trips and she’s just HAD to wear her new ones home she’s liked them that much!

For the summer we got Florence these adorable canvas Constance Eve (£18) shoes and Jimmy his Crazy Rock FST (£30) which are just gorgeous!

But we’ve been back to get more shoes since then and we think we’ve made yet more brilliant purchases!

It never takes long to be seen once you have your ticket and the staff are helpful and friendly making the children very much at ease! Florence loves having her feet measured with the iPad and Jimmy is always very jealous as his feet aren’t big enough to be measured that way yet.

Feet measuring is much for fun with the interactive iPad which engages children with choosing a character at the start!

Old school measuring for Jimmy, he’ll be pleased when his feet are a size 7 and big enough to go on the iPad measuring system!

We were choosing trainers on this visit because Jimmy has just started going to a football coaching session with Jonny on a Saturday morning. He needed something functional as a trainer but I also like his shoes to look good. With advice from the team we chose Azon Flex Fst (£26) for him which he thought were pretty amazing! He couldn’t wait to show Jonny when he got home!

And Florence wanted, of course, something sparkly that she could wear to play in and to Girl’s Brigade where they play lots of running around games. I did try and persuade her towards a pair in the sale but she was having none of it and actually at the price they are the Top Bray Pre (£20) from the Doodles range are pretty good value. They’re Velcro so easy for her to get on and off herself and with the sparkles she was smitten as soon as she saw them! oh why not?! They’re lovely!

Florence is very pleased with her new Doodles as is Jimmy with his football trainers!

Yet again a brilliant shopping experience with some fab shoes which I know will fit them for ages. The Clarks team always make sure they have room to grow and are comfortable to wear from day one.

Next time we go it will be for winter boots and… eeek… School shoes! Florence starts proper school in September and I have been told by the school she has to have black smart school shoes. Of course Clarks is where we shall be heading!

I was sent vouchers to buy some shoes for the purpose of an honest review.
