A #GUMIXmas With A Funky Lunch!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Yesterday we were invited along to the Growing Up Milk Christmas party where we got to learn from a children’s food artist how to make fun and festive food the children will want to eat!

Now I made a bit of an error and took the children thinking that it was for them as well, I’d not listened properly as it was actually in a proper cookery school with very sharp knives and meant for just us Mum’s but they were lovely, very accommodating and even let Florence and Jimmy have a go at some food making too! Because we do our Friday Night Treat Tea most weeks they are both really into novelty food and this was JUST up their street.

Mark from Funky Lunch and his daughter who has grown up eating her Dad’s creations taught us how to make edible snowmen, penguins, Christmas trees and little polar bears – lovely little Christmas treats!

This is what we started with!

We had a great time at the L’atelier Des Chefs cookery school in St Pauls and what festive treats we enjoyed on the way home!

Growing Up Milk invited us to their Christmas party to make festive and fun canapes.
