Last time we went to see CBeebies Live I was heavily pregnant with my baby boy. It’s hard to believe that was almost 2 year’s ago and now we are planning to go again soon; this time WITH that baby boy who is not so much of a baby anymore and more of a fully fledged toddler fan of beebies!

Jimmy will be over the moon when he realises we’re seeing all his favourites on stage as will Florence of course. But this, for Jimmy, is going to be the first really big show he’s seen which is about things he LOVES!

The three Misters, Mr Bloom, Mr Tumble and Mister Maker will be joined by Katy Ashworth (we like her so much Florence had an ‘I Can Cook’ birthday party for her last birthday) and a whole host of other faves to come together for the CBeebies Easter tour, CBeebies Live! The Big Band! We can’t wait!

I often wonder what the stars from Beebies are like when they’re just being themselves? I wonder if Justin Fletcher gets on the tube home and reads the paper or does Mr Bloom get mobbed by mums at the bus stop?

I think it’s pretty well known that Ben Faulk who plays Mr Bloom is the heart throb of Cbeebies and even Katy Ashworth joked that her baby was his when pregnant last year at the Lollibop festival! He gives Mum’s all over the country butterflies but what did he say when asked about his OWN butterflies in the tummy?

CBeebies asked him:

The show is playing some pretty huge arenas across the UK. Do you get butterflies in your stomach before you go on stage?

I certainly do, but truth be told there’s some sort of strange comfort in it. A few nerves help you focus and keep you on your toes. If there wasn’t a smidgen of preshow anxiety, I’d be concerned to be honest. That said, these shows will certainly be in the biggest venues I’ve ever played, so I’m expecting the butterflies to grow in proportion to that. They’ll more likely be Pterodactyl than Red Admiral in size.

Well, we have butterflies of excitment and can’t wait for the tour to kick off in London at Wembley Arena on 5th April! The tour will also be in Glasgow, Newcastle, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Liverpool, Birmingham and Sheffield! So… Whose going?
