I thought perhaps Florence might be a little too young for Where’s Wally? The books with tiny little characters and one little famous Wally hidden amongst them for you to find! I remember looking through the books with my friend Angela when we were considerably older than her so I assumed it probably wouldn’t be of much interest and perhaps out of her capabilities but I assumed wrong!
Where’s Wally? Is famous all round the world and celebrating his 25th birthday can you believe?! I was sent some goodies to play around with and as soon as Florence got her mitts on the books she didn’t want to put them down! I had no idea that they would captivate her in the way that they did but without me even telling her what the concept was she somehow just seemed to know and set about finding Wally and his friends!
Under each page of the 25th anniversary book there is the post card and a flap a flap behind which is a check list. She loved it. She just spent so much time doing it and I can see it being an absolute winner on car journeys! I so didn’t give her enough credit did I!
We’ve loved our first introduction to ‘Where’s Wally’ and Florence even got to dress up as Wenda!
