How To Make An Ice Cream Burger – #SaveSummer!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

It’s summer holidays time and that only means one thing! Bring on the fun!

With six whole weeks at home, it is up to us as parents to build entertainment for our little ones! Days out and entertaining children can be super expensive though so as well as the odd trip out to a theme park for a treat we need to do some brilliant things at home too!

We’re taking part in the Asda #SaveSummer challenge! This means that every week of the school holidays we will, as a family, take on a fun task set by Asda and share our antics with you! The good news is that the challenges are all really good value for money, of course, because everything you need comes from Asda!

So, on the agenda this week was to make ice cream burgers! Burgers like my little ones have never seen before! Hands on, decorating and sprinkles… Sounded just up Florence’s street so we couldn’t wait to give it a go! And then don’t forget that after one has MADE and ice cream burger, one must EAT the ice cream burger… Oh the challenges Asda set are toughies aren’t they!

How do you do it?

1. Put a scoop of ice cream in between two biscuits.

2. Get creative with your decorations; chocolate sauce, strawberries,
smarties, sprinkles and anything else you feel like.

3. Demolish the ice cream burger.

What’s not to like about decorating then demolishing ice cream burgers!

Get everything you will need, have a little nibble on some sprinkles, and scoop your ice cream onto the first biscuit!

Place the other biscuit on top, pat it down and roll in sprinkles!

And voila! Eat your ice cream burger! Yum!

I have not been paid to write this post but I was supplied with the necessary tools to join in with the #SaveSummer challenge set by Asda.
