Christmas 2013 - Some Of The Best Toys!

A lovely PR company I know held a bit of a Christmas bash this weekend. It involved a beautiful summer’s day, an open house dressed for Christmas, the man in red himself and some very, VERY fun toys to play with!

Micomms Christmas House — Not a particularly Christmassy scene in Hyde Park on our way to the Christmas house!

So strange walking in from the heat to a house decked in holly but super fun all the same! A Christmas tree with presents and games and toys for the children to play with. A garden full of scooters and yummy nibbles to be snacked on. Every bedroom decorated with a different theme and yet more toys to be played with! Certainly looked a lot like Christmas and I have to say, after playing with all the toys and snacking on lots of the yummy nibbles, drinking a glass of wine and taking home some very lovely presents, we are thinking Christmas come early is a good thing indeed! We now know exactly what’s on our lists to send to the North Pole and I have to share some of our favourites with you!

Micomms Christmas House 3 — Had to mention Tatty Teddy and Blue Nose Friends first because Florence couldn’t get enough. There’s a new classic bear, the latest in a line of collectors items, but he is very different this time round and is made with new material – so cute! It was the dress up Tatty Teddy who caught Florence’s eye most and she had to even go back upstairs to say goodbye to her and her many outfit choices again before we left! I also think she’d LOVE the new craft sets!

Micomms Christmas House 4 — Florence isn’t too familiar with Nickelodeon and more the sister channel for littler ones, Nick Jr. However, she didn’t take long to get into the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys (neither did Jimmy) or the dinosaurs who interact with each other!

Micomms Christmas House 5 — Jimmy loved The Entertainer toy shop’s room and couldn’t wait to play with the Bladez Toys remote control inflatables which I saw earlier in the week and knew my children would like. He was also rather fond of the Mr Tumble plush!

Micomms Christmas House 2 — You might think the JCB range is just for boys and true Jimmy did love it, especially the ride on tractor, but Florence really dug the little toys too and with a pink Tatty Teddy pram not to far from site she sat down to play with this at the same time!

Other toys and gadgets I found and will be looking more into are:

Annoying Orange – He’s new to me but with 1.4 billion views on YouTube it seems I’m in the minority. We had some things in our goodie bags from the talking toy range and the children have been giggling ever since!

Your Sports iD – Customised footballs! Florence was very lucky and got a ball with her name on it given to her! Order your personalised Fifa inspected Hy-Pro football on-line and they’re printed with a 14 day delivery!

Cartamundi – Playing card games like happy Families and Snap. Lots of different themes for whatever your little ones are in to! We like the Monsters University ones!

Some AMAZING suitcases for children that I can’t talk about yet. But I will hopefully be able to bring you news of them very, very soon!
