Christmas At Marks And Spencer – #MS13XMAS

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

I have really done the rounds with the Christmas preview shows today and I started out at Marks and Spencer first thing this morning. I’ve long been a fan of the store and we enjoy so many of their food products for treats! One of my favourite things to eat is their honey glazed gammon which is very often in their ‘Dine In’ range!

They do food, party food in particular, to such an exceptionally high standard and although it can be pricier than alternative shops, I think it does often have the edge when it comes to quality! Very often, as with their ‘Dine In’ deals, they have their Christmas and party food on special offers. I remember New Years Eve 2009 when I gave birth to Florence; I was heffering about East London, believing that my labour would keep on going past midnight and I’d be able to continue with our planned party. I was contracting at the till in Marks and Spencer buying up party food which was on a crazy deal where you got about 3 packs of tasty treats and a bottle of fizz for a tenner. As I pushed Florence out at twenty to midnight I never did get to try any of the mini burgers that my party guests ate while I gave birth – ho hum!

I was lucky enough to preview not just the food offerings for Christmas 2013 (VERY IMPRESSED) but indeed their entire range and we loved all of it! I even had a Sienna spray tan while I was there and Florence had a mini manicure. We were well and truly pampered and for the rest of the day everyone kept saying ‘Oooh, where have you been on holiday?’ It is quite honestly the best tan I’ve ever had, fake or otherwise!

We had fun being pampered, learning how to arrange flowers, make decorations and jumping on the sparkly floors!

Decorations and drinks! I really enjoyed my champagne cocktail made using sugar plum liqueur and Florence thought her sparkly fresh juice (yes sparkly) was fab!

The food was so delicious! Particular favourites of mine were the Cornish Cruncher Cheddar and Cider Bake and some of the oriental nibbles! The cakes are super fun for children and I really liked the Christmassy Colin the caterpillar – let’s just hope he’s not as hard to track down as regular Colin the caterpillar as every time I go to buy one I can never find him!

I just loved the flowers and I was pleased to see my favourite Freesias which smell so beautiful!

I was not paid to write this post.
